I like the name Akirachix (named after a cult Japanese film, according to the article).

It reminded me of the movie Dersu Uzala by Japanese film maker Akira Kurosawa.

I read an article about Kurosawa's Dersu Uzala film, years ago.

Paraphrasing, and from memory:

It described how Dersu, a hunter in the forests of the Far East, comes across a Russian soldier. The soldier talks to him about cities and civilization (which Dersu has never seen), and mentions that in cities, people pay for access to water.  Dersu is amazed at this, and asks, "You mean people pay for water which is free in the hills and streams?"
