W3C and top tech companies launch WebPlatform.org

Apple, Facebook, Google, Microsoft and others join forces to launch new Web standards resource

It is 'an attempt to create the “definitive resource” for all open Web technologies.'

The companies joining the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in this effort, include:

Apple, Adobe, Apple, Facebook, Google, HP, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia, and Opera.
