Old but interesting: An O'Reilly interview with Guido van Rossum

An Interview with Guido van Rossum - O'Reilly Media

Saw it after googling more about GvR, after reading the news about him leaving Google for Dropbox.

I don't think the Visual Basic environment is particularly daunting, though. I much prefer Delphi to VB (and when the hell is Embarcadero going to release a free or low-cost Delphi version for Linux?), but VB was not difficult to use, just not that powerful (till VB 5 or 6, anyway).

Good quality Delphi applications - site

Good Quality Applications Built With Delphi - Delphi Programming

Interesting site. I've used Delphi (early versions, then later Turbo Delphi Explorer) for hobby programming work; it is a good tool for Windows GUI application or product development.
