The list is also categorized by type of software or service, e.g. File Sharing and Storage, Productivity, etc.
Looks like a good collection ... the comments there also mention other such tools.
I did know of some of them before, such as Foxit Reader for Windows, a fast and lightweight PDF reader, but I'm sure I'll find other ones of interest from the list.
