WebSiteGrader now has monthly email grade update and tips for your site

By Vasudev Ram

WebSiteGrader.com now has monthly email web site grade updates and tips for your web site. I just signed up for that. I've used the service several times in the past to check the web site grade for my business web site www.DancingBison.com.

If you haven't tried out the WebsiteGrader.com service, you might find it interesting and worth trying out, if you have a web site of your own. It analyzes your web site and then gives it an overall grade in terms of its marketing effectiveness, as well as giving several individual pieces of information (with ranks or scores for some of them) about your site, and suggests some ways in which you can improve your web site grade as computed by it. The computation is a proprietary algorithm which is a blend of several parameters, but the results are interesting, nonetheless. They also keep on tweaking the algorithm over time, which may result in your web site grade as computed by them, changing over time, even if you have not made any changes to your site. I've seen this happen with mine.

WebsiteGrader is a service by HubSpot, which is an inbound marketing services company founded by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah. Dharmesh founded a successful financial software company earlier and then sold it, and is also the person behind OnStartups.com and Answers.OnStartups.com

HubSpot, the creator of WebSiteGrader, had raised a total of around $33 million in funding over a couple or three rounds - till Series C, as I recall (see preceding link in this sentence for the details).
