This Google Calendar feature might have been available for a while, but I only saw it now - or it could be new, which I suspect. Anyway, I find it useful, so writing about it:
When you create an event in Google Calendar, if you choose the Repeats option, you have the ability to specify the number of times the event should repeat (in your calendar) as a number of times, in addition to other methods such as "repeats until a certain date", or "repeats forever".
Nice touch ...
