This post is about the concept of "micropreneurs" (something similar to micro-ISVs) and related topics.
I had seen this post on Andy Brice's blog Successful Software some weeks ago. Thought it was of interest:
Start Small, Stay Small - A Developer's Guide to launching a startup
In the post, Andy talks about Rob Walling, who is a micropreneur and also one of the people behind the site . Andy's post also has links to a blog, a podcast and the micropreneur academy site, all by Rob Walling.
The main concept of the term "micropreneur" is, to create a startup or small business, but not to grow it (much) larger over time; i.e., to remain at the size that can be handled by one person, the founder (possibly with the leverage of outsourcing some of your tasks). This is a concept that may interest some people, since not everyone necessarily wants their startup to keep getting bigger and bigger.
