How the Net helped an open source writer get his memory back

By Vasudev Ram

Moving story.

I got to know about this only recently, via a common friend of Mayank and me.

I had interacted a little with Mayank some years ago when I saw an open source article of his and wrote to him asking some questions about writing for technical publications.

Mayank Sharma, a prolific writer on open source topics, had an illness that caused him to lose his memory (Times of India article).

The Times article above is an interview with Mayank after he recovered some, describing how the Net (Google, Facebook, Twitter, various other sites and services) helped him to recover his memory of his life over time.
