SwingTIP is a hardware-cum-software (hardware device, mobile app) for golfers to help them improve their swing. The device attaches to the golf club and monitors physical parameters of the golfer's swing in real-time, transmits that data to the app on the golfer's mobile phone, then the app displays information to the user that can help them improve their swing.
I don't play golf myself, but I've been on golf courses with people who play, and it's great to be outdoors in such an environment. A very relaxing sport. And of course, there are all those stories about how more business is done on the golf course than in the office ...
