Got to know of Udemy via checking Zed Shaw's book Learn Python The Hard Way.
Zed is giving that course at Udemy.
Udemy (for Academy of yoU) is an online learning / teaching site. Seems like anyone can sign up to create or take a course. Courses can be paid or free.
Small windows (describing the course) pop up when you mouse or hover over items (courses) on the courses page (and maybe on other pages, I just took a quick look at the site), which I found a bit irritating. They should introduce a delay before the popup pops up :)
Mark Zuckerberg is giving a free course on product development at Facebook on Udemy.
Vinod Khosla of Kleiner Perkins and Khosla Ventures (and co-founder of Sun Microsystems) is also on the site.
One of the founders, Gagan Biyani, is from Silicon Valley.
